LONDON (AA) – Eurostar train services to and from London have been canceled "until the end of the day" after flooding in a Thames tunnel, the operator said on Saturday.
Amid yellow warnings by the UK's meteorological office for wind, rain and snow for large parts of the UK, train services from London St Pancras International to Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris have been cancelled.
In its update, the operator, Eurostar, said that trains have been cancelled today due to part of the track being temporarily closed near London.
"We apologise for the impact to travel today," said the Eurostar.
Meanwhile, the flooding also affected the UK's southeastern train service to and from London St Pancras International until the end of the day.
"Flooding between Ebbsfleet International and London St Pancras International means that all lines are blocked. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled," the National Rail said in a statement.
It added that disruption is expected "until the end of the day," due to the ongoing flooding in the railway tunnels near Ebbsfleet, 16 kilometers (10 miles) east of London.
