ATHENS (AA) - At least three people were killed in an explosion in a gunpowder factory in southern Italy, media reports said Wednesday.
The accident took place in the city of Chieti, according to state-run ANSA news agency, which said an investigation is underway to determine the causes which might have led to the explosion.
It added that another explosion in the same company’s factory in the southern province of Abruzzo killed three workers in December 2020.
