GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) - Several people were reported dead and injured in fresh Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, the Interior Ministry in the blockaded enclave said.
The attacks targeted a house in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza and another in Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry, however, did not give an exact death toll from the strikes.
Eyewitnesses said the airstrikes have caused widespread damage in the two areas.
Israel has launched relentless airstrikes on the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7.
At least 5,791 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli bombardment, while the death toll in Israel reached 1,400.
