ANKARA (AA) - Turkish basketball club Fenerbahce Beko extended their winning streak to 10 games in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with a home victory over ALBA Berlin 89-84 on Friday night.
Fenerbahce Beko's French playmaker Nando De Colo led his team to the winner's circle in Round 25, scoring 26 points. De Colo had eight assists and two steals.
The Istanbul team's Canadian forward Dyshawn Pierre scored 17 points to contribute to the win.
Fenerbahce Beko's Marko Guduric and Jan Vesely scored 12 points each against Germany's ALBA Berlin.
ALBA was led by Marcus Eriksson, as the Swedish guard racked up 19 points. The visitors' US center Ben Lammers scored 16 points.
The German team's Maodo Lo and Simone Fontecchio scored 14 points each.
Lo tallied eight assists, and Fontecchio grabbed eight rebounds as well.
The win meant Fenerbahce Beko has 15 wins and 10 losses in the EuroLeague regular season to be in the number six spot in the standings.
Only the best eight teams in the EuroLeague standings will go to the playoffs when the regular season ends with Round 34 games in April.
Meanwhile, ALBA Berlin's hopes for the 2021 playoffs are fading as the German club has an 8-17 win/loss record to be in the number 16 spot.
In the next fixture, Fenerbahce Beko will face city rivals Anadolu Efes on Feb. 26 at home.
