ISTANBUL (AA) - Fenerbahce Beko beat Anadolu Efes 83-78 in Round 2 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague on Thursday.
Fenerbahce Beko had five double-digit scorers: Bonzie Colson scored 16 points, Wade Baldwin IV racked up 15, and Arturs Zagars and Nigel Hayes each finished with 11 points.
Khem Birch also pushed his team along with 10 points at Istanbul’s Basketball Development Center.
For the losing side, despite Daniel Oturu scoring 21 points, Efes suffered the season's first loss.
Elijah Bryant also netted 15 points in the home loss.
Fenerbahce have won both of their games in Round 2 so far while Efes have one win and one defeat.
In another Thursday game, Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens defeated Bayern Munich 94-79 at Athens’ Oaka Altion.
Panathinaikos's Mathias Lessort was the game’s top scorer with 22 points, and Juan Hernangomez made a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Devin Booker finished with 15 points for the German club.
Both Panathinaikos and Bayern Munich now have one win and one loss.
