ANKARA (AA) – Fenerbahce Beko defeated Emporio Armani Milan 85-82 in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game on Friday.
The Istanbul club began the new season with a win in the overtime despite falling behind in the first quarter.
The Yellow Canaries' guard Scottie Wilbekin rallied his team with 19 points and four assists in the season's first round match at Ulker Sports And Event Hall.
Milan's Spanish forward Nikola Mirotic scored 27 points and 11 rebounds but in vain as his performance was not enough for a win for the Italian side.
Johannes Voigtmann also dropped 21 points for Emporio Armani Milan.
