Fenerbahce Beko beat Panathinaikos in EuroLeague Round 3

Fenerbahce take 83-69 win in Istanbul to improve to 2-1 in regular season

Turkish basketball club Fenerbahce Beko won against their Greek opponents Panathinaikos 83-69 in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 3 game to improve to 2-1 on Tuesday.

Fenerbahce led the game to be victorious at Istanbul's Ulker Sports and Event Hall.

Greek center Georgios Papagiannis was Fenerbahce's top scorer with 15 points. However, Mathias Lessort, Panathinaikos' French center, was the game's highest scorer as he tallied 19 points for the visitors.

Johnathan Motley produced 14 points for Fenerbahce. Marko Guduric and Nick Calathes scored 12 points each for the Istanbul club.

Kyle Guy scored 13 points for Panathinaikos and Luca Vildoza added 10 points for the Athens team.

Fenerbahce are now in fifth spot after two wins.

Panathinaikos have a 1-2 win/loss record to come 13th in the regular season standings.

- Anadolu Efes bag 1st victory

Another Turkish club, Anadolu Efes, bagged their first victory in the 2023-24 EuroLeague campaign with a 89-84 win against France's LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in Round 3.

Will Clyburn, who scored 19 points, and Shane Larkin, who racked up 18 points, led Anadolu Efes in the game against ASVEL at Istanbul's Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.

French guard Nando De Colo was the game's top scorer, producing 25 points for ASVEL.

Anadolu Efes are in 15th place, while ASVEL occupy the bottom of the EuroLeague table after losing all three of their games.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are the best two clubs in the standings as the Spanish teams each won all of their games.
