ISTANBUL (AA) - Fluminense defeated Flamengo on a 4-3 aggregate to win the Rio de Janeiro championship on Sunday.
Marcelo broke the deadlock in the 30th minute, while German Cano scored twice at Maracana stadium in the 34th and 56th minutes.
Alexsander scored Fluminense's fourth goal and Flamengo's only goal came from Ayrton Lucas in the stoppage time in the second leg of the Rio de Janeiro state championship.
Fluminense secured their second consecutive Rio de Janeiro state title with this win.
