ISTANBUL (AA) - Medipol Basaksehir reigns Turkey’s top football league with six-point lead after Monday’s win over Antalyaspor 1-0.
With the latest win, the league leaders scored 48 points and had a six-point lead in the week 22 of Spor Toto Super Lig.
On Sunday, the runner-up Galatasaray defeated Kasimpasa 4-1 to increase their points to 42.
Meanwhile, Fenerbahce drew Konyaspor 1-1 on Saturday. The struggling Yellow Canaries have been suffering the worst season in their history, with only five wins in 22 outings.
Fenerbahce are now in 15th place with 24 points, only six points from the bottom of the league, and 24 points away from the top spot.
On Friday, Besiktas beat Evkur Yeni Malatyaspor 2-1. They are in the third place with 39 points.
