ANKARA (AA) - Turkish football powerhouse Galatasaray's Gabonese midfielder Mario Lemina faced a knee injury on Tuesday as a wave of injuries bothered the club.
Galatasaray said on their website that Lemina was getting treatment for strained knee ligaments during the international break.
It added that Colombian star Radamel Falcao, Uruguayan goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, Dutch forward Ryan Babel and DR Congolese defender Christian Luyindama are injured.
Falcao traveled to Spain for treatment and is expected to return to Istanbul after he recovers.
Another forward, Florin Andone from Romania is out until January 2020 as he has been suffering from medial collateral ligament (MCL) knee injury.
Title contenders Galatasaray will face city rivals Medipol Basaksehir in Turkish Super Lig week 12 match at home on Friday.
Galatasaray and Basaksehir had 19 points each in Super Lig led by Sivasspor, who earned 21 points in 11 matches.
Basaksehir were in the fifth spot and Galatasaray came sixth in standings.
