ANKARA (AA) - Turkey will take on Germany in a friendly game on Oct. 7 in Cologne, German Football Association (DFB) announced on Monday.
"We want to use these friendlies in the fall to help our young squad get back into the rhythm of things. We want to continue to grow as a team, with an eye on next summer's EUROs. Turkey and the Czech Republic are two interesting opponents," Head coach Joachim Low said in a statement.
Low also said that these friendlies would give them important information about the development of the team, adding that he is looking forward to these matches.
In addition to Turkey, Germany will play against the Czech Republic on Nov. 11 in Leipzig.
