ISTANBUL (AA) - Greek football club PAOK confirmed Tuesday the signing of Japanese player Shinji Kagawa.
"PAOK FC announces the acquisition of Shinji Kagawa. The Japanese midfielder has signed a one-and-a-half year contract with the Double-headed Eagle and his squad number is 23," PAOK said in a statement.
Kagawa previously played for England's Manchester United, Germany's Borussia Dortmund, and Turkish club Besiktas.
Japanese midfielder won back-to-back German Bundesliga titles in 2011 and 2012.
The 31-year-old helped Manchester United win the English Premier League title in 2013.
He has made 97 appearances for Japan, producing 31 goals, while he has also title of the Pan-Asian Cup of 2011.
