ISTANBUL (AA) - Italian football side Juventus defender Merih Demiral has been sidelined for approximately 10 days after he got injured, the club said on Monday.
"Merih Demiral was subjected to magnetic resonance imaging at J|Medical today, which revealed an elongation of the right iliopsoas muscle. The expected recovery time is approximately 10 days," Juventus said on Twitter.
Joining Juventus from Sassuolo in July 2019, Demiral produced one goal and two assists in 16 appearances for the Turin side.
The 22-year-old also made 18 appearances for the Turkish national team so far.
