ANKARA (AA) - French football giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) transferred Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera on Thursday.
PSG said that Herrera, 29, inked a five-year deal with his new club keeping him at Parc des Princes until 2024.
"Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the arrival of Ander Herrera Aguera. The Spanish midfielder comes to Paris after his contract ended at Manchester United and has signed a five-year contract with the capital club until June 30, 2024," the club said on its website.
"I was looking forward to coming to Paris and to wearing those colors. I hope to continue making history with the club! Joining this club is an amazing feeling. I also love the city. Paris is the most beautiful city in the world. I promise three things: work, professionalism and passion," Herrera said.
Since 2014, Herrera has scored 20 goals in 189 matches for Manchester United.
