ISTANBUL (AA) - After the latest games in the top five European football leagues over the weekend, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, Inter, Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are in the top positions in their respective leagues.
In the English Premier League, the leader Liverpool defeated Burnley 3-0 to win first 4 matches of the season in a row.
Reigning champion Manchester City beat Brighton & Hove Albion 4-0 to reach 10 points while Manchester United drew Southampton 1-1.
The leader Liverpool with 12 points were followed by Manchester City with 10 points.
In the Spanish La Liga, the leader Atletico Madrid beat Eibar 3-2 to win the first 3 matches in a row.
Reigning champion Barcelona drew Osasuna 2-2 while Real Madrid drew Villarreal 2-2.
Atletico Madrid with 9 points were followed by Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao with 7 points each.
In Germany's Bundesliga, RB Leipzig beat Borussia Monchengladbach 3-1 with Timo Werner's "hat-trick" to win the first 3 matches of the season in a row.
Union Berlin defeated Borussia Dortmund 3-1 while Bayern Munich beat Mainz 05 6-1 at home.
The leader Leipzig with 9 points were followed by Bayern Munich, Wolfsburg and Bayer Leverkusen with 7 points each.
In Italy's Serie A, the last 8 years champions Juventus beat Napoli 4-3.
Inter defeated Cagliari 2-1 while Torino beat Atalanta 3-2.
Milan beat Brescia 1-0. Milan's goal came by Turkish midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.
The leader Inter with 6 points were followed by Juventus and Torino with same points each.
In the French Ligue 1, the reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain beat Metz 2-0 without their injured stars Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani.
Nice defeated Rennes 2-1 while Monaco drew Strasbourg 2-2.
PSG top the league with 9 points, followed by Rennes, Nice and Angers with same points each.
