ROME, Italy (AA) - Italian national team manager Roberto Mancini and Roma's forward Edin Dzeko have contracted coronavirus.
The Italian football federation Friday confirmed in a statement that Italian manager, 55, is asymptomatic and currently in self-isolation at home.
The 34-year-old forward Dzeko also announced he has tested positive for the coronavirus while he is asymptomatic.
"For a few days I will be forced to stay away from my teammates, but with my mind and heart I will stay with them, starting on Sunday. Come on Roma!" he wrote on Instagram.
The Bosnia international will not able to play in Roma's Serie A match against Genoa on Sunday as he will not join his nation's squad for the upcoming matches next week.
