ANKARA (AA) - Italian giants Juventus transferred Turkish defender Merih Demiral from Serie A club Sassuolo.
Turkish national team defender signed a 5-year contract with Juventus.
Juventus will pay €18 million/$20 million to Sassuolo for Demiral.
‘’Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with U.S. Sassuolo Calcio S.r.l. for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Merih Demiral has been finalized for a consideration of €18 million payable in four financial years,’’ said the club on their website.
21-year-old defender joined Sassuolo from the Turkish club Alanyaspor in January 2019 and scored two goals in 14 games with the Italian team.
