ANKARA (AA) - Italian veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, 41, returned to Juventus on Thursday after spending last season in French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Juventus welcomed Buffon in a Twitter post as Buffon said he is happy to be back to Juventus.
"Hi everyone, I wanted to greet you once again. I am happy to have returned home and to have the opportunity again to embrace you and to be embraced by you," Buffon said in the video.
"After a year away from Turin, Gianluigi Buffon has returned to Juventus, after penning in a one-year contract which will tie him to the club until 30 June 2020," Juventus said on website to confirm Buffon's arrival.
The 2006 FIFA World Cup winner, Buffon made his way to Paris in July 2018 after a 17-year spell at Juventus. Buffon had 656 club appearances at the Turin club.
Last season the former Italian international won the French Ligue 1 title with PSG, where he played 25 matches.
Buffon has been regarded as one of the Juventus legends, winning 9 Italian Serie A titles with Bianconeri.
