ISTANBUL (AA) - The U.S. dollar stood below 3.00 lira Tuesday morning after the Turkish currency gained 0.10 percent Monday.
There are no major local data announcements due Tuesday; local market is likely to remain more responsive to domestic developments.
The local fixed income markets were relatively flat. The two-year benchmark bond was traded within a tight range of 9.18 percent - 9.19 percent, ending the day at a low of 9.18 percent, 6 base points below its previous close.
