ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Super Lig side Caykur Rizespor's former player Mohamed Abarhoun passed away due to stomach cancer at the age of 31.
"We have received the news of the death of our former football player Mohamed Abarhoun, who had been receiving treatment for a while," Caykur Rizespor said in a statement.
The club sent its condolences to the Moroccan player's family and relatives.
Abarhoun made 37 appearances at Caykur Rizespor in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons as he took a break from football this season due to health issues.
