Former Ugandan Olympic athlete Benjamin Kiplagat was stabbed to death in Kenya on Sunday, according to local reports.
The 34-year-old was found in a car with stab wounds near Kenyan town Eldoret.
Police reportedly launched an investigation into the incident.
Kiplagat reached the 3,000-meter steeplechase semifinal round at the 2012 London Olympics.
