Formula 1 to travel to Japan for round 4 this weekend

Round 4 to be run over 54 laps of 5.8 km at Suzuka International Racing Course

ISTANBUL (AA) – Japan is set to host round 4 of the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship on Sunday.

The race at the 5.8-kilometer (3.6-mile) Suzuka International Racing Course will be run over 53 laps.

Before the race, the qualifying stage will take place on Saturday. Sunday's race will start at 0500GMT.

Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen won the first two F1 races of the season in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, putting him on a nine-race winning streak.

Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz took the first non-Red Bull win of the season in Australia in Round 3.
