ANKARA (AA) - France's gross domestic product (GDP) growth slowed to 0.2% in the third quarter of this year, according to provisional data released on Friday.
The French economy grew 0.2% in July-September from the previous three-month period, in line with market forecasts. The figure eased from 0.5% in the second quarter, the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies said.
While final domestic demand contributed positively to GDP growth this quarter, foreign trade made a negative contribution.
On an annual basis, GDP rose 1% in the September quarter, easing sharply from 4.2% growth in the previous quarter.
