PARIS (AA) - France's culture minister allegedly threatened the prime minister’s dog over new budget restrictions, according to media reports on Tuesday.
Rachida Dati balked at Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire's notice on the budget measures, said the Le Monde daily.
Dati sent a message to Prime Minister Gabriel Attal saying she would "make a kebab of his dog."
She allegedly sent an insulting message to Le Maire as well, said the newspaper.
Le Maire announced on Feb. 18 that €10 billion ($10.8 billion) would be saved from the general budget including that of the ministries, and that €200 million was cut from the Culture Ministry budget.
