ISTANBUL (AA) - French non-governmental organizations (NGOs) filed complaints Wednesday against French-Israeli citizens, accusing them of complicity in genocide for obstructing humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip amid Israeli attacks.

The Union of French Jews for Peace (UJFP) and a French-Palestinian citizen submitted a legal complaint that targeted French-Israeli citizens involved in organizing, participating in or calling for actions that block the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. A statement on social media by the Urgence Palestine Association emphasized that the complaint accused the individuals of "complicity in and incitement to genocide."

Another legal complaint against French-Israeli citizens was filed by the EuroPalestine Association and the Association of Lawyers for Justice in the Near East (AJPO).

According to a statement on the EuroPalestine’s website, the complaint accuses several individuals, including Nili Naouri-Kupfer, a French-Israeli lawyer and president of the Forever Israel organization, of complicity in genocide for obstructing aid to Gaza.

The statement noted that Naouri-Kupfer admitted to her involvement in actions blocking humanitarian aid trucks and reportedly expressed pride in the actions.

Noting that the International Criminal Court (ICC) had issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense chief Yoav Gallant, the statement emphasized that "(Netanyahu and Gallant’s) accomplices, including French citizens, must also be held accountable for their actions."
