PARIS (AA) - Twenty members have been added to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal's new 14-member Cabinet, the Elysee Palace announced on Thursday.

While the current ministers retain their positions, there has been a change in the status of Amelie Oudea-Castera, who will now only continue as minister of sports and Olympic Games.

Nicole Belloubet, who served as justice minister from 2017 to 2020, has been appointed new minister of education and youth, replacing Oudea-Castera.

Guerini has been appointed transformation and public service minister.

Among the coalition partners, Frederic Valletoux from the Horizons Party has been appointed health minister, while Marie Guevenoux from President Emmanuel Macron's party has been appointed minister for overseas territories.

Another member from Macron's party, Guillaume Kasbarian, has been appointed housing minister, and Jean-Noel Barrot has been appointed minister for Europe.

The Cabinet also includes Roland Lescure as minister of industry and energy, Franck Riester as minister of foreign trade, Francophony, and French nationals abroad, and Patrice Vergriete as transport minister.

Agnes Pannier-Runacher will serve as state minister in the Agriculture Ministry.

Macron will hold a Cabinet Meeting on Feb. 14 with the full participation of all Cabinet members.

The names of many ministers who make up Attal's Cabinet were announced on Jan. 11. Attal himself was only appointed on Jan. 9.
