ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish football giants Galatasaray on Thursday signed Senegalese striker Mbaye Diagne from Turkish Spor Toto Super Lig club Kasimpasa for a four-and-a-half-year deal.
Diagne, 27, is this season's top scorer in the Super Lig, netting 20 goals in 17 league appearances for Kasimpasa.
Under the deal, Galatasaray will pay a €10 million transfer fee to Kasimpasa while Diagne will receive €1.15 million for the second half of this season, €2.35 million for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons, and €2.4 million for the last two seasons.
The transfer window for the Turkish clubs will close tonight at midnight (2100GMT).
