ANKARA (AA) - Galatasaray suffered a 2-3 home defeat by Sivasspor in a week 35 match of the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.
The Lions struck first with Bafétimbi Gomis in the 10th minute, but Sivasspor equalized the score with Mustapha Yatabare in the 44th minute before the end of the first half at Nef Stadium in Istanbul.
Sivasspor began the second half fast as Fredrik Ulvestad brought the lead to the away team in the 49th minute but Gomis scored again, this time from a penalty kick in the 58th minute, and made it 2-2.
Ahmet Oguz put one in for Sivasspor in the 64th minute and the game ended 3-2.
Galatasaray lie at 13th spot with 47 points while Sivasspor are in 11th place with 48 points in the Turkish Super Lig standings.

Caykur Rizespor kept their chances alive to remain in the Super Lig after a 7-1 away victory against Goztepe.
Rizespor's goals came from Kahraman Demirtas' own goal in the 16th minute, Papiss Cisse in the 19th minute, Gedson Fernandes in the 34th and 53rd minutes, Yusuf Sari in the 68th minute, Joel Pohjanpalo in the 78th minute and Ronaldo Mendes in the 88th minute.
Goztepe's only goal was scored by Makana Baku in the seventh minute at Goztepe Gursel Aksel Stadium.
TFF 1st Lig teams Ankaragucu and Umraniyespor got their Super Lig tickets while Goztepe and Yeni Malatyaspor are relegated from the Turkish top football league.
With Umraniyespor promoted, the Super Lig will have seven Istanbul-based clubs next season.
The third team to be promoted to the Turkish Super Lig will be determined after the playoffs, while Altay and Caykur Rizespor kept their chances alive to remain in the Super Lig for one more week.
