ISTANBUL (AA) - Galatasaray missed the chance to grab the Turkish Super Lig title as 10-man Fenerbahce sealed a narrow win in the Istanbul derby on Sunday.
Fenerbahce were down to 10 men after Alexander Djiku received a red card in the 21st minute at RAMS Park.
Neither side was able to break the deadlock in the first half, 0-0.
After a goalless first half, Fenerbahce defender Soyuncu scored the winner in the 71st minute from close range.
With this win, Fenerbahce increased their points to 96 and Galatasaray have 99 points.
On the final day of the Turkish top division, Fenerbahce will host Istanbulspor and Galatasaray will take on Tümosan Konyaspor on Sunday, May 26.
