ISTANBUL (AA) - Galatasaray sealed a 3-2 win against a 10-man Tottenham Hotspur club Thursday on matchday four of the UEFA Europa League.
Yunus Akgun scored an early goal with a long-range rocket to give Galatasaray the lead in the sixth minute at Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex RAMS Park in Istanbul.
But William Lankshear leveled with a close-range shot in the 19th minute for the English club.
In the 31st minute, Galatasaray regained the lead when Victor Osimhen netted with a classy one-touch finish.
Osimhen scored again in the 39th minute.
In the 60th minute, Lankshear was shown a red card for a foul on Gabriel Sara, reducing Tottenham Hotspur to 10.
The English club narrowed the gap to one on a back-heel finish from Dominic Solanke in the 69th minute before the match ended.
Galatasaray increased their points to 10 while Tottenham Hotspur collected nine points.
