RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) - The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) announced that the number of displaced people in Gaza due to ongoing Israeli airstrikes has exceeded 338,000.
In a written statement from the UN office, it was reported that over 338,000 Palestinians have been forced to leave their homes since the beginning of the Israel-Palestine conflict.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres had previously stated that 220,000 Palestinians were sheltering in facilities affiliated with the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Gaza.
