BERLIN (AA) - Anyone above the age of 12 in Germany will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, as the government dropped its vaccination priority listing, a government spokesperson said on Monday.
Health authorities approved only the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine for use in children over the age of 12, Seibert said.
In Germany, 38 million people have received their first doses, while 17.5 million have been fully vaccinated since the country launched a mass vaccination campaign on Dec. 26, 2020.
