ISTANBUL (AA) - Germany's industrial production rose 3.2% in February on a yearly basis, said official figures released on Thursday.
Industrial production has been posting increases since last October, the Federal Statistical Office's (Destatis) data showed.
But production numbers are still 3.8% below February 2020, the month before COVID-19 pandemic restrictions came into effect.
"This gap in production is likely because of a continuing shortage of intermediate products, due to which many enterprises have problems completing new orders," the office added.
