ISTANBUL (AA) - Germany’s unemployment rate stood at 3.1% in January, down from 3.2 in the same month last year, according to the Federal Statistical Office.
The number of unemployed people decreased by 354,000 year-on-year in January, Destatis' data showed.
It said that around 45 million people were in employment in January, up by 81,000 month-on-month.
The number of persons in employment is still below the pre-pandemic level, Destatis added.
