ATHENS (AA) – Greece experienced its driest October in at least last 15 years, according to a report released on Thursday.
The Hellenic National Meteorological Service prepared a report based on rainfall data from 118 stations across the country over this period.
According to the data, total rainfall in October was at its lowest levels in 15 years, with 95 of these stations recording no or less rain.
The country, which recently experienced one of its driest summers, is now witnessing significant drops in dam water levels, exposing villages and structures that were previously submerged.
