ATHENS (AA) – The Greek coastguards recovered the bodies of four irregular migrants after a boat sank off the island of Rhodes in the Aegean Sea, local media reported on Wednesday.
The irregular migrants, including three men and a woman, drowned after their boat sank, broadcaster CNN Greece said.
Police say they found another 25 irregular migrants who survived the shipwreck and managed to swim to shore.
Meanwhile, search and rescue operations are underway to locate any possible missing irregular migrants, according to the broadcaster.
