ATHENS (AA) - Greek and Israeli defense ministers on Thursday met in the Greek capital Athens to discuss bilateral relations and regional development.
Greek Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos and his Israeli counterpart Yoav Gallant, both accompanied by delegations, underlined determination to further enhance strategic relations for regional stability and prosperity, according to a statement by the Greek Defense Ministry.
Parties, during the meeting, expressed willingness to deepen their cooperation in multiple domains including defense, energy, and industry, added the statement.
Among the regional developments discussed in the meeting were the latest situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, it added.
