ATHENS (AA) - The Greek Police Directorate said Tuesday that it arrested a far-left terrorist of Turkish nationality.
It said the “56-year-old man, who according to the warrant, is charged with terrorist acts – supply, transportation of weapons and explosives as well as financing on behalf of the terrorist organization DHKP-C.
The DHKP-C is responsible for numerous terror attacks in Türkiye, including a 2013 attack on the US Embassy in Ankara that killed a Turkish security guard.
The group is also listed as a terror organization by Türkiye, the US and the EU.
