BERLIN (AA) - German police shot a suspect on Thursday near Israel’s consulate general in Munich, local media have reported.
According to Süddeutsche Zeitung daily, the suspect was shot near a museum on the Nazi regime’s crimes, which was close to the Israel’s consulate general in the city center.
“Police officers fired shots at a suspicious person,” Munich police said in a short statement, without providing further details.
The area was cordoned off by police immediately.
