TEHRAN, Iran (AA) - A senior Iranian police officer was killed by unknown gunmen in the country’s southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan province, local media reported on Friday.
The Iranian official news agency IRNA said Hossein Piri, the deputy chief of the police department in the city of Khash, was attacked by unknown gunmen near his house after Friday prayer.
No further information was provided.
