ANKARA (AA) - Norwegian football star Erling Haaland scored another hat-trick to guide Manchester City to a huge 6-0 win over Burnley on Saturday as Pep Guardiola’s men qualified for the English FA Cup semifinals.
Haaland, 22, was on fire against Burnley at the Etihad Stadium days after he netted five goals in Manchester City's extravagant 7-0 win against Germany's RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League.
Julian Alvarez, another Man City forward, scored double on Saturday and Cole Palmer added one for the hosts.
Haaland tallied 42 goals in his first season at Manchester City.
FA Cup quarterfinals will end after Sunday's matches; Sheffield United vs. Blackburn Rovers, Brighton vs. Grimsby Town, and Manchester United vs. Fulham.
The semifinals are scheduled for April 22, and the 2023 FA Cup final will be played on June 3.
The matches will be held at London's Wembley Stadium.
