BEIRUT, Lebanon (AA) - Lebanese resigned Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Tuesday announced that he would return from Saudi Arabia in the next two days.
"I am feeling very well, I will return to Lebanon within two days," Hariri said in a message posted on Twitter. "My family lives here in Saudi Arabia, the kingdom of goodness," he added.
On Nov. 4, Hariri announced resignation during a televised speech broadcast from Saudi Arabia. The resignation has yet to be accepted by Lebanese President Michel Aoun.
In his resignation address, Hariri criticized Iran and its Lebanese ally, Hezbollah, accusing them of sowing “sedition” in the region and meddling in Arab affairs.
Earlier this week, Hariri denied allegations that he was being held by Saudi Arabia, saying that he would return soon to Beirut.
