Al Ain from the United Arab Emirates won the 2024 AFC Champions League on Saturday, to hoist their first continental title in 21 years.

Coached by former Argentina and Inter Milan forward Hernan Crespo, Al Ain hammered their Japanese opponents Yokohama F. Marinos 5 - 1 in the second leg of the final at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium to win 6 - 3 on aggregate.

Soufiane Rahimi and Kodjo Laba scored twice for Al Ain, and Alejandro Romero added another for the victors.

Yan Matheus was the lone goal scorer for Yokohama F. Marinos, who have never won the AFC Champions League.
