BEIRUT (AA) - Hezbollah announced Saturday that it attacked six Israeli military positions in southern Lebanon and hit targets accurately.
Two positions in the Shebaa Farms, which are under Israeli occupation, and the Ramya military point were targeted, the group said in a statement.
It noted that the attacks were launched on the Burket Risa and Ed-Dahira positions, as well as the Beranit barracks.
The official Lebanese news agency, NNA, announced that the Israeli army targeted the El-Jabal neighborhood of the Meys el-Cebel region, located on Lebanon's border area.
The report said Israeli forces attacked the towns of Cebel Balat, Beyt Lif, Ayta esh-Shab and Ramya in the Sur district, as well as the El-Masara region of Bent Jubayl in the south.
There was no response from the Israeli army to Hezbollah's statements.
Israel occupied the Shebaa Farms, Kefr Shuba Hills and part of the Gacar village in Lebanon when it occupied the Golan Heights region of Syria in 1967.
