BEIRUT (AA) - Another Hezbollah fighter was killed in Israeli an airstrike in eastern Lebanon, the group said Thursday.

The fighter was identified as Ali Alaedine from Sohmor in the western Bekaa Valley.

The death toll for the Lebanese group’s fighters has now risen to 348 since Oct. 8, according to a tally by Anadolu.

The Lebanese Civil Defense said earlier that an Israeli attack targeted a motorcycle in Sohmor in the western Bekaa Valley, where the deceased was transported to a hospital.

Tensions have risen along Lebanon's border with Israel amid cross-border attacks between Hezbollah and Israeli forces as Tel Aviv presses ahead with a deadly offensive against the Gaza Strip, which has killed more than 37,700 victims since October following an attack by the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas.
