ISTANBUL (AA) – High school students in Istanbul on Friday toured the Karmod plastic water tank production facility as part of the "Aware of My Future" project.
Organized by the Pendik Imam Hatip High School Alumni and Members Association, the project involves students from nine Imam Hatip High Schools in the Pendik district.
It seeks to equip participants with skills such as resume writing, job search strategies, career planning, and interview techniques.
Karmod Plastic Group General Manager Talay Ozturk emphasized the importance of exposing students to real-world workplaces.
“It's incredibly important for students to support their classroom education by directly observing the field, as this significantly contributes to shaping their career paths,” Ozturk said.
He praised the program’s organizers and said Karmod welcomed the opportunity to inspire future professionals despite its demanding production schedule.
