ANKARA (AA) – Point guard John Wall has finalized a contract buyout with the Houston Rockets to be a free agent.
“The Rockets have reached a buyout agreement with John Wall for the final season of his contract,” the Western Conference franchise said Tuesday on Twitter.
The Rockets thanked the 31-year-old for his “professionalism” and wished him the best for the future.
Wall, a five-time NBA All-Star, joined Houston in 2020 after 10 years with the Washington Wizards.
According to a Monday report by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Wall is planning to move to the Los Angeles Clippers.
