ISTANBUL (AA) - Hull City on Thursday said they will give their fans free coach travel to all road clashes for the rest of the season.

"The decision by Tigers’ chairman is in recognition of the difficult times fans have faced in recent months, both with the rising cost of living and the prolonged train strikes affecting supporters’ ability to attend matches," Hull City said in a statement.

Hull City owner Acun Ilicali said the support from fans has been fantastic and they wanted to show them the same kind of support.

"We know it’s quite a tough time for people at the moment, and Christmas is always an expensive time, so if we can help them, it’s only right that we do it," he said.

The offer of free travel will begin with a Stoke City match on Feb. 11.

Hull City are currently in the 16th spot with 33 points in the English Championship table.
