ISTANBUL (AA) - Hungarian swimmer Kristof Milak broke his own world record in the men's 200-meter butterfly, the International Swimming Federation (FINA) said on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old set the new world record with a time of 1:50.34 at the FINA World Aquatics Championships in Hungary's capital Budapest.
Previously, Milak had broken the Olympic record of swimming legend Michael Phelps' world record (1.51.51) with a time of 1:50.73 at the 2019 FINA World Championships in Gwangju, South Korea.
