BEIRUT (AA) - Several civilians were reportedly injured in an Israeli airstrike on a town in southern Lebanon on Saturday evening.
There were several civilian injuries in the town of Adloun in the Sidon district as a result of the airstrike, according to Lebanon’s official National News Agency.
The agency said that the injured were transported to hospitals for treatment.
Fears have grown of a full-fledged war between Israel and Hezbollah amid an exchange of cross-border attacks.
The escalation comes against the backdrop of a deadly Israeli onslaught on Gaza, which has killed over 38,900 people since last October, following an attack by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas.
